1. Requirements and installation¶
Unreal Engine 5.3 or newer, Windows. Enable QuickCards in Edit → Plugins and restart the editor. To see the plugin's assets, turn on Settings → Show Plugin Content in the Content Browser.
The demo: open QuickCards Content/Maps/LV_Demo_Showcase and press Play.
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Finishes | Each foil on a card |
| Effects | Layer depth, a pop-out, edge glow, idle shimmer, a reveal sweep, a flip |
| Hand | Deal, drag a card onto the play area, draw, new game |
| Packs | Packs one after another, with the odds, the rules and what you pulled |
| Customize | A slider for every layer's depth and every Feel setting; Copy Feel; Reset to Default |
| 3D Table | The same cards as 3D cards on a table |
Your cards in the demo: select Showcase Screen in the Outliner (folder QuickCards) and set its Deck to your deck. Every tab then shows your cards: where the demo picks a card by name and your deck doesn't have it, your next card stands in, and Packs use your deck if it has Rarities. For the 3D Table, set Deck on Night Parade Cards too. Clear Deck afterwards, and don't save the map with it set.
The demo set (Night Parade, QuickCards Content/Data/NightParade) is AI-generated example content: use your own art
in your game. The demo uses its own game mode, and its screens are C++ (module QuickCardsDemo, which nothing else
depends on), so you can read how each part is built.
